This time in isolation at home due to the coronavirus is going to end. There may be a time when you will be looking back to today, and either saying to yourself that you used your time in the best way, or wish you would have spent that time differently.

We have been told to stay in our home, and only leave for the essentials. For the health and safety, of you and others this is important. Can you take this statement coming from “out there” and make it about you in another way too? Imagine the Universe/God/your higher self/your inner voice expressing, “Stay home. Only do what is essential.” Perhaps you can interpret this message to mean that you are to go inward, into YOU, into your inner home, and DO only what is most essential for you at this time? This is clutter-free living! You are being given the greatest gift at this time! People on the outside, in control, have all of a sudden cleared away all the excess for you! Why? You have to begin asking yourself this. 

Aside from the sad and stressful feeling things that are happening, this can also be seen as a great time. This is a time for YOU! You have time now to sit down and just be. BE with you. SEE you. FEEL you. LOVE you. Cherish this time to begin to see all of the parts that have possibly been pushed down, ignored or you feel unaccepting of… see, accept and unconditionally love. Practice intimacy… “into me I see.”

If you see your life from the awareness of oneness, then everything you see happening on the outside, can become an aspect of you… as if parts of you are being pushed out. Something that you notice in someone else that triggers you for example, you may want to take as a message that there may be something inside of you that you are to lovingly pay attention to now. Take some time to gently integrate. Return to wholeness. The more you see, accept and unconditionally love those parts that activate you in uncomfortable ways, the less you will see them on the outside, as you integrate them, and the less you will attract things that are aligned with these parts. They will no longer have a charge, because they were seen and unconditionally loved. 

If you are noticing what feels to you like dark/shadow types of messages on the outside, then you may want to translate this symbolically to mean that it is time to look at the shadow or what you may consider to be “dark” to you, or unacceptable aspects of your self. Did you notice these things in the world as much, before the news of the coronavirus started? The virus triggered great fear.

Stepping into the vibration of fear (or what may feel like a different lifeline full of fear based things) is really scary! I woke up to the shifts in consciousness that can happen when my perspective shifted from love to fear in 2006. It was one of the scariest things I have ever experienced. I could actually sometimes see the shift happen in front of my eyes with how certain objects looked brighter or a little different, as I shifted from one state to the next. Over time, I realized that I had the choice to step into that state or out of it. When I lived in fear and focused on things that felt scary, I attracted more of the same. I also realized that I have the choice to become awake (i.e. to feel like the observer of my life) in each state to see what was happening, or fall asleep and perhaps feel more like a victim sometimes of my experiences. Meditation is so important to begin to practice becoming the observer of your thoughts.

Jumping to another subject, have you ever looked up the etymology of words to see their origin of meaning? It is fascinating to. I did this recently as I wondered where the word “corona” came from. I will leave that for you to look up. After you look up the etymology of the word, stay in the energy of love and remember your crown chakra. Think of your connection to God, your Higher Self, to infinite intelligence. Remember too how in my book I suggest to put on your crown in order to remember to take the best care of you! 

We experience polarity on earth… opposites. Perhaps we are seeing a lot of things that feel scary/dark on the outside, because we are beginning to vibrate more fully in the energy of love/light? Are we experiencing the awareness of polarity in a larger way? Are we receiving messages through fear, that it is time to return to unconditional love? Is it time for you to look inward, and see if you are living in ways that truly align with your Divine self? If you see a lot that feels false on the outside, see if there are some things inside of you or in your life that you need to release… what feels untrue? You can only recognize love and what feels best for you through contrast. Now is a time of enormous contrasts.

Perhaps the more we just become aware of what looks fearful on the outside, and accept “what is” as we move into the heart and without judging from the mind, that the energy will dissolve more and more, or will become neutralized, allowing for a smoother transition to the lifeline where we experience more peace and harmony in our life… living in ways that are in harmony with our soul. 

Take slow, deep, and full breaths. Step out of the illusion of fear you may be feeling now. Breathe in through your heart. Breathe in love. Be love. You are love. Release through your breath what feels out of harmony with love. You have a choice of perspective.

Also notice how this virus attacks the breath. This is a clear message from fear that you are to focus on your breath now. Meditate regularly and be with your breath as part of a healthy self care daily practice. You have lots of time now to choose healthy practices, so that you take the best care of you. Sit with your beautiful self in meditation. This is a Divine time to go inward. 

Another healthy self care practice is to write. Take some sacred time each day for this. Allow words to flow from you. Release what is inside of you onto the page. Writing is a powerful exercise, and you may notice some magical feeling shifts happen in your life with your expression. If you’ve read my book, you know that I also include a complimentary workbook because of how I feel about the importance of writing.

You may not know how or where to start on paper, especially if you are feeling out of sorts at this time. Here are some phrases that may light something up inside of you to begin the journey:

Some things that I feel are shifting inside of me are…

I realized that these things don’t serve me…

I am ready to be more accepting of…

When I am allowed to be free again outside of my home, I know that I no longer want to…

The one thing I am going to do more of once I am free outside my home again is…

Who am I?

What am I?

Why am I here at this time? Perhaps there are many reasons I am here. Right now I feel I am here because…

The thing I want the most is…

My inner voice…

The step I can take today is…

I am taking the best care of me and loving who I am more today by…

I am reaching out to others today by…

For the earth, today I am…

If I had this time at home again, I would…

The question I am asking the Divine right now is…

Remember that for a butterfly, the struggle in the cocoon (which you may want to see as your home right now while told to stay home) is needed, in order for it to develop the ability to fly and be free. You are like the butterfly. Great shifts happen through discomfort! You don’t have to be alone with this though.
